2nd Sub-Regional Workshop on Amateur Radio

Cairo, Egypt

8--9 February 2005

Motivation:

Over the years Amateur radio has played a very important role in different areas: scientific, economic, humanitarian, and social.  Sadly, though, the number of radio amateurs in Arab countries is still small compared with other countries of the same cultural and economic scale.  It is thought that with some awareness, among both radio amateurs and radio regulators, this number can be increased significantly.
